Praise for the Dark Cornish

On Monday I butchered my standard Meaties, but also took the opportunity to butcher one of my dark cornish hens. Dressed weight was 4lbs even, and of course she had a noticeably smaller chest than the CornishX. But, we LOVED the flavor and texture. I will definitely be doing many more of these, and just put 2 dozen eggs in the bator. Highly recommended!

We have some Dark Cornish that are about 7 days old, 7 males and 11 females so I know I will be eating some of the roo's.
