Hellooo,
So me and the husband tried to be prepared and shop for the whole week instead of running out for food every couple of days and went and forgot to check sell by dates. We've got more prawns than we can eat. Can the ducks finish them? Are they called prawns in America or are they called shrimp? There's no salt added to them.
Thank you for your help.

We call em shrimp around here.. I would think they would love them .. Ducks eat fish and bugs so I would think they would devour them.. MAybe put somne in the water bucket and watch dunk to get em .. Its too cute.

In America prawns are very large shrimp:) JUMBO shrimp--otherwise any size "prawns" are shrinp and you can feed it to the ducks-I do:)

In England the shrimp are the big ones you put on the bbq and the prawns are the small ones you put in a coctail!

I don't know about feeding them to ducks, although I don't see why not. As far as what they're called, it would depend on who you asked. A prawn is a prawn, and a shrimp is a shrimp. Many people refer to large shrimp as prawn.

You better hope your ducks don't tell neighboring ducks prawns are on the menu! You might have more ducks than you know what to do with.

BTW tell us what their reaction was.
