just a quick update.
my daughter has been adjusting well. i am not crying in front of her anymore. as she saw me cry and that got her upset. her scratches are all healed, we still have the major gash around near her nose, that is taking forever to close up and heal. partly because i think shes picking at it. i have caught her a couple of times, but after all she is only 3 years old.
my mil still has that dang dog. we havent talked much with her, but she has offered to pay any medical expenses that we may occur.
my daughter still has a hard time looking at herself in the mirror. that still makes me sad.
shes has gone back to pre-k and adjusted to life. as she should. we are trying to keep things normal. i just wish it would heal quicker!!
anyways, just an update to another busy week!!

As for the dog I would put it down I wouldn't want another child getting hurt by that dog! Well at least they are trying to help by paying for the medical expenses though.

Your daughter is beautiful!!!! I too would be upset that they still have the dog. This is their GRANDCHILD for cryin out loud!!!!!
