Prayer request for one of our own (Some news pg. 13)

Roger and I have exchanged email. He let me know what some of his medical history is and what his doctor has done so far.

Going by what Roger has told me his doctor is doing the right thing by not just guessing. A lot of specialist will just start throwing meds at a problem. The med that Roger's Doctor has prescribed will help if it is Crohn's and won't hurt if it is not.

There are many diseases that Roger's symptoms fall under. 5 weeks is no all that long for a proper diagnosis of a GI disorder. Hopefully this trip to Houston will reveal what it is.

Our best thing to do is pray for an accurate diagnosis on Tuesday.

I do not know much at this time, but I did hear from Roger this evening.

The only thing that I can tell all of you is that he has to have surgery. He did not give me all of the details. He just wanted to let me know that he is back home and that he has to have surgery. He has to go back at the beginning of next month.

They do have him on some meds. (don't know what) and all he can do at this point is wait until he goes back next month to get more details and I am assuming/hoping schedule his surgery.

I will let all of you know more when I can.
