prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry this happened to you, that your elbow is broken and that you are in pain! 😧

But so glad God sent His human agents to care for you and take care o you! Will pray for speedy healing and no pain very qúckly. Do you have someone to help you with household and personal chores, getting dressed, cooking, etc.?
Thank you.
Thank you Lord
Thank you Jesus

Another prayer request, kind of weird, but here goes.

At school, I'm in an engineering group (for a class) and I've been assigned to work with someone who will not help, but when I'm done with a part of the project, he ends up critiquing basically everything about it, and he isn't very nice (he often says I act weird and such)

It's already really hard for me, because I hate working in groups, and since this is one of my first times working in a group (that I will likely have to be working with for the whole year) I wanted it to be a positive experience, instead of negative.

I'm going to talk with my teacher in the next week or so about what could help make it better, but I'm really nervous for that. I'm also going to tell her that some of the reasons it's harder for me is because of my autism and adhd (plus social anxiety thrown into the mix)
I'm really nervous.

So, basically, what I'm asking you guys to pray for me is:

a. That things will be able to work more smoothly in engineering
b. That God will give me the strength to talk to my teacher
c. That my teacher will understand.

Thank you!

The Christmas season is a time to reflect and act upon the blessings and opportunities we have because of the birth, life, Atonement, and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As our Heavenly Father “so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16), we express our love toward one another and toward God and His precious Son by giving of ourselves. What an example Christ was while living on earth. Service is something I think most of us want to find ourselves doing, especially during Christmas. I find myself praying hard to "see" someone .. anyone I can help.. in some way. So many different ways to help or serve. Anything from a smile and a hello, or being able to do something for someone in need. And yes, smiling at others can be a service. We never know who really needed to ..feel..noticed that day. Your smile to that person, made our Father smile, I'm pretty sure. 💞

Another thing (again, about school)

it realllllllllllllllly bothered me, when in class today, a classmate said they are autistic. (I don't know if this is actually true or not, but it's fine either way) however, one of my other classmates said "Everyone has autism." It made me really upset, because (a) it's not true, (b), that's not validating to the person who said they are autistic, and (c) it's hard to be autistic, and not everyone struggles with it.

I don't mean to rant, just please pray that I don't get angry at this person.

When I struggle with feeling angry at the stupid things people say and do (or don't do), I have found it very helpful to remember this prayer Jesus prayed on the cross: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!"

I find it easier to forgive people if I remind myself that mostly they are unaware of the harm they are inflicting. If Jesus could do it in the midst of excruciating suffering while experiencing existential separation fron His Father - I reckon that by His grace I can release any angst I feel over the ignorant actions of the people in my little sphere. After all, Jesus has already paid the price of their sins, as well as mine.
