prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Indeed! Our devotional tonight was about Jacob. We too may feel we have sinned before God and deserve to be cast out - of country, of family, like Jacob was, and even from before the face of God. But God graciously gave even Jacob, liar, thief, usurper, a beautiful promise, not only to him, but to his posterity - I will in no wise cast you out, but I will give to you and your seed all this land ... because you deserve it? No! Because I am a gracious, forgiving and generous God!

May we never forget it! ❤️

I was invited to this thread by one of you. Mind if I tag along? We have daily morning intercessory prayers in our home, plus I pray throughout the day as a person or situation comes to mind. Our kids are far away and we find the best, and usually only, thing we can do for them is pray. I have many unsaved family members and saving grace is prayed over them every day, same with friends. So, I'm not sure that qualifies as a prayer warrior, but here I am.

welcome!

back in 2010
I went through the citizens academy of the mobile fire and rescue department
And there was a controlled house burning included in it that we went to
They told us how they set up for the fire
I don’t remember what but something like what commonly starts a house fire (space heater etc)
All I remember is that it only took about 3-5 minutes for the house to be totally engulfed in flames

Let’s not forget about hurricane Helene victims
