Praying for your sister SG.
Thank you

Your question back to me is excellent
How would christianity be a crutch? I've heard that before, but how?...
That would keep the conversation going but if I replied back with :
I think it is for the weak
What would you say?
Jesus feeds the weak, heals the sick, and raises the dead, so I think it's perfectly made for "weak" people

See, that's part of the problem, though. People don't generally admit they're weak. At least, not most people. A fair percentage of people want to look perfect and strong to the outside world, otherwise they have to ask for help, and that requires letting go of pride or control. Most don't want to give up control.
I read a horrible horrible article the other day, a good reminder of why we should be VERY wary in our web searches. Luciferianism...claims that Satan was sent here to "liberate us" from an opressive God.... I almost list my lunch

But that's the problem right there. To admit you're weak and need Jesus, people feel like they're losing "control", not gaining an everlasting captain to steer the ship during storms

Praying.
Thank you
