My church runs a drug and alcohol rehab and I can tell you that one of the things that makes the biggest differences in the lives of those men and women is having a praying mama. The path to recovery is a long one but God will walk beside you and your son on it.
For I know the plans i have for you declares the Lord plans for good and not for disaster, plans to give you a hope and future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13.

They are currently still quarantined...I think. I am not sure if they are allowed to receive therapy though. Please continue to pray for them!

Prayers for our family. We are all pretty sick over here. Also, prayers for my husband with Alzheimer's. He's declining faster than any of us expected. He has Prostate cancer too. Now we find out why he's been falling and having pain in his legs. His lower back...compromised spinal cord, huge bone spurs, and riddled with arthritis. Starting home health for him. Such a loving human being. One of the best souls you could ever run into in your lifetime. Thank you all. Will do some catch up here. Please know my prayers .. and thanks for answered prayers are happening here for you.

Thank you so much. since then she’s actually been improving every day and the biggest thing is we think she actually has a chance now whereas it was pretty bad at first

Sometimes God answers like, almost immediately, or, like Scripture says, while I am still praying! And that is so cool when that happens, it just fills me with such joy and thrills my soul. But other times, well, not so much. Like ... well, my son started drinking when he was a teen. He is 45 now and just now going to a 12-step program and getting sober. So I have been praying for him for like, 30 years! But I always believed God heard me, and would answer, because there is a verse that says, "...and I will save your children." I've prayed for my daughter too, she also has issues, and I just learned the other day that she got a job recently. She's over 40 and it's her first job. Am I praising God? You know I am! So if you don't see an answer to your prayers right away, don't get discouraged! Keep on praying! He does hear! He will answer. Maybe not immediately. Maybe not in the way you expect. But trust Him. He makes no mistakes! He is faithful.

Thanks. Just the other day, my GirlChild and a couple of her buddies were here at the house, and one of them lost a post to her earring. Hunted high and low, couldn't find it. Finally I said (knowing they are not Christians), "Well, we need some help here so let's pray. Heavenly Father, please help us find N's earring post. Thank you, amen." And almost immediately one of the other girls went, "Oh hey, here it is!" And they were all like Oh wow, that is so cool! So I prayed again and thanked God for helping us find it! I think they were most impressed.
