Praying!Will y'all pray for my GirlChild? She's struggling to get out of a relationship which, although not abusive, is not truly healthy. She's left several times but keeps going back out of pity for the partner, who is emotionally clingy and very dependent. The partner made a serious suicide attempt once and I'm sure my GC is concerned she will try again. But she knows she has to make healthy choices for herself. Thanks.

I'm a weird person, and rarely if ever watch movies. I get plenty of DVDs of movies to watch later that people say are good, and they sit here for years without even getting unwrapped. I got rid of cable ages ago because I was paying for it and never even turned the TV on. The last movie I went to was the third part of The Hobbit, The Battle of the Five Armies, when it came out. So, if there's a good Christian movie out there, I dunno.
But this morning, I saw a Youtube video of someone who came back to Christianity after being a practicing Wiccan, and she said that a lot of Hollywood movies with occult themes or lots of violence are "prayed over" by witches and satanists, so maybe not watching movies isn't such a bad thing.
This is why I wasn't allowed to watch Harry Potter when I was a kid. When I got older, I watched the first few and liked them but later on when I rewatched the first one, I realized how much occult was in there. It also... I felt fear and other things while watching that I didn't have before. Haven't watched it since. Also got rid of the books years ago before I read them. (I actually tried to read it but I just couldn't bring myself to read it for some reason. I'm glad now.)
