My uncle Ryan went home to the Lord last night about 11:30, pray for our extended family. I believe all his kids and grandchildren were able to say goodbye. Pray my family, there's a good possibility that we will move back to take care of my grandparents. This is especially hard on my mom, they were very close. Thank you all for praying.

May the Lord bless you and comfort you in your loss. Please read 1 Thess. 4:13-18, this passage was specially written for such a time as this.

I'm having a hard time tonight. Missing my sweetheart. It hit me hard tonight when I went into the living room, looked at the tree. I haven't cried like this in a while. I miss him so much. Please pray I can be in a happier mood for the kids on Christmas Day! I don't want to ruin things.

Don't worry, Cynthia, they will understand. They are probably missing him, too! After all, this is their first Christmas without him, too. It would probably be a little strange if tears were NOT shed. I'm sure they have a pretty good idea how hard this is for you, and they want to be here for you. Whatever happens, just let it happen naturally. Nobody expects you to carry on like things are normal and you feel nothing. Don't be a soldier. You've lost your beloved, your sweetheart, your life partner. Of course you're hurting. Shed your tears, wipe your eyes, then go carve the turkey. Life does go on, but grief is a natural part of it. You loved him. He deserves a few tears.

2 prayer requests:
1. My sister started feeling off yesterday, she feels really sick now (headache, sore throat, and low fever) so she's going to see the doctor. Just prayers that, whatever it is, she'll be ok. Also, we were planning to see my grandparents tomorrow, so we probably won't be able to anymore. My whole family is vaccinated, so hopefully, if it is covid, we won't have it too badly.
2. It's going to be really, really, really cold on Monday (the forecast says low of 2 degrees (f)) I know that might not seem that cold, but considering it rarely gets to freezing here... I'm a little worried about the chickens. Prayers that they will stay warm.

Update:
1. My sister is still feeling bad, but her covid test came back negative, so that's good.
2. The weather forecast now says low of 6 degrees, at least that's a bit better!




Also, Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I don't know whether I'll be online tomorrow, but hope you all have a fantastic holiday!
