prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Just want to thank God for my blessings! For my quail, the conure eggs (four as of today!) and the fact I have such a loving family.
:clap:yesss: That's nice, VC, always good to hear/ share praises to the Lord!

I'll add mine: I was sick Saturday night and Sunday (tummy "bug" of some sort) but it was short-lived, thank God! I was weak and achy Monday but feeling much better today though still a little sore (tummy) and can't eat as much as I'd like but it's over. No idea where I could have gotten it, I'm practically never around anybody and mask whenever I'm out but ... Shrug. No one in our family has been sick with anything in a year, since we all had Covid about a year ago, so praise God for that! :wee:celebrate:highfive:

I’d appreciate prayers for good news from my blood work labs when they come back! I’ve had stomach troubles for going on 2 years and I finally went to the doctor today. They drew 5 tubes of blood which almost put me over the edge :lau and they’re testing all sorts of things. I have family history of IBS, ulcerative colitis, scleroderma, Crohns, and all sorts of other delightful things, so I’m hoping it’s not any of those.

Praying! Lung cancer is running strong on my mom's side. I always pray for my grandma and mom on that, since a lot of her sisters/family have died of it.

My aunt died of that. It’s so hard to see someone struggle with it. I’m sorry. :hugs
Its weird when it suddenly hits you. When I was really young, my mom took me to visit one of my grandma's sisters who had lung cancer. I remember some moments so vividly, yet completely forgot fragments of my experience. All I remember was me visiting her, eating snacks, and wondering why she was wearing a hat all the time. I remember my mom telling me that it was because she was frail and cold. Next thing you know, I was walking down a cemetery...I wish I got to know her and her other sister's. Life truly is short and is but vapor.

Ouch, none of those sound like any fun at all! Praying for your health.
