Hello Art! Do you happen to have an update on them? Please pray for some family friends. A family member of theirs was killed in a car wreck this morning. I believe her daughter and five grandkids were also in the car and are in the hospital. Please pray for healing for those in hospital and peace of mind and mental healing for the family as a whole.
This is absolutely lovely and so well saidAmen!
People need to see the love of God in us. When I was young in Christ, I wanted to drag people to Him, kicking and screaming, lol. I wanted to tell them everything they were doing wrong and what they needed to do right. I turned so many people off to the Lord that it shames me. I realize now that nobody ever got beat into the kingdom of God's love. They need to be drawn with "cords of love." When they see God's love they will want to know Him better. So .. it is our job to love unconditionally, just as He loves us. He provides the sun and rain, and things flower and grow and bear fruit quite naturally. If we love one another, their love for Him will grow naturally as well. God grant us this love!![]()
We will be praying for youThis is absolutely lovely and so well saidwhen I was younger, I loved going to church, the harvest festival, alkinds, I was really interested in learning. Until I had a family member who started pushing me, saying if I wasn’t baptised, then later on, if I don’t have the kids baptised, god would spurn us and we would rot in hell for eternity, we would never meet Our Lord, never meet up with loved ones who had passed
it was quite shocking and I thought…if following god makes you like that, that’s really not for me. A lot has changed since then and I’ve realised that is not the norm. I’ve had a lot of kindness shown to me, the church took my son to Lourdes, and everything since then has been positive, I wouldn’t say I’m 100% there just yet, but I’m getting there. Reading things like this just makes me feel more positive
thank you.
Agree. A bit of a sickening feeling.
