prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

I discovered this thread earlier this year. I love the care that you have for each other. I have checked back a few times, and in between, sometimes prayed for anyone posting here, though not actually reading it. (I prefer to be specific, but have been having some difficulties.) I have thought about posting, before, but didn't really know what to say, so I don't think I actually did. I have a few prayer requests to post, now, and would appreciate 🙏. Thank you.

1. I would like to thank God for my hen's recovery, this year. So far, she's doing ok. It was scary, but I learned a lot.

2. My Mom is sick again. She has been having trouble finding out what the problem is, and lots of unrelated stress, as well. They are going to try surgery.

3. Prayers that I strengthen myself in Jesus and overcome those difficulties I mentioned above would be appreciated as well.

Thank you.
:hugs Welcome, BugStalker. We got you! The Lord knows your heart. Thanks for joining us! ❤️🙏❤️

I attended church via zoom. Couldn't make it there today, but so thankful I got to attend in this way. Our Primary aged children sang and spoke today. Oh those precious precious children. I'm sure God smiled today as he heard those little voices. It was Jesus Christ Himself who taught us to look to children as an example. The Savior gave the ever-familiar plea, “Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Mark 10:14). ..
From the book of Matthew we learn that after Jesus and His disciples descended from the Mount of Transfiguration, they paused at Galilee, then came to Capernaum. The disciples said unto Jesus, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
“And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
“And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matt. 18:1–6.)
Parents everywhere realize that the most powerful combination of emotions in the world is not called out by any grand cosmic event, or is it found in novels.. history books, but by a parent gazing down upon a sleeping child.
When doing so, the truth of the words of Charles M. Dickenson come to a realization...
They are idols of hearts and households;
They are angels of God in disguise;
The sunlight still sleeps in their tresses,
His glory still gleams in their eyes,
These truants from home and from Heaven,
They have made me more manly and mild;
And I know now how Jesus could liken
The Kingdom of God to a child. .............. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to have children, a lot of children in my life! My own, my husband's,.. which I feel are my own also, and now grandchildren and greats! There have been multiple times that a child has stopped me in my tracks, so to speak, and shown me the way in a particular time. A reminder as to how I should act...like the child I am... of God. ... Enjoy this song that is sung by beautiful little children. ...
