@Artichoke Lover life can be hard...family and church especially! Remember the TRUTH and let God work out the rest. I've found that pulling my focus back to Jesus truly does help...it is just difficult to "choose" to do so when you are hurting.

We are having some challenges is our family as well. One of our members is taking a break in a mental health facility for a few days so I'm asking prayer for her (thank you!), and also for us, my DH and myself, because we honestly don't know how to help her. She's a young adult and is really hurting and struggling with some things from her early childhood. Of course we are staying very close to the Lord in all this and we have a peace about it and an assurance that He is very near to all of us and will bring us through, but I especially would solicit prayer for her, that SHE would have that comfort and peace and assurance. She really needs it. I think she is feeling very alone and lost and scared right now. She needs your intercessory prayers, for Jesus to cast the demons of fear and darkness away from her, and for her to be filled with the Light of His peace and glory. Thank you all so much.

Blue. Praying for her. We have a daughter that is suicidal. She's older now with grandchildren of her own. She's battled with this since..her mom committed suicide. Yes, you read that right. It was my husband's former wife. Bipolar. This daughter feels like it was her fault because they had an argument that night, not huge at all, actually a little disagreement. This daughter is wise enough to put herself into a clinic when she is struggling extra hard. She's been on so many different meds. It's such a hard thing to beat. We just can't understand. It's an illness she never asked for.. of course! We pray for her always. It's so scary. Not sure what's going on with your member, but my prayers are with her and you and your husband. The Lord is very much aware of her. I pray she'll feel that love of Christ. Our daughter knows. I believe that's why she's gotten this far.

Thank you so much, Cynthia, you made me cry. We were on our way home from taking her little brother to the bus at StL when she called from the ER. She had called 988. She had taken some things. Then she got into my meds too. I won't name anything, but by the grace of God, the effect of taking too many of this second substance is to cause vomiting. We didn't even go home of course. She didn't expect them to send an ambulance but again, thank God they did. We were about an hour out. It was a comfort to know she was safe and being cared for. I wish we knew how to help her. But God knows. We just have to trust her to Him. Thank you for your prayers, Cynthia. This is more than a kind of illness, it's satanic.

I don't know any details about the situation but that was my thought as well. Satan just loves to attack people and make them feel worthless.
I'll be praying for her and for you, as well.
