prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

I hope no one minds or takes offense when I give ancient testimony to some of the comments posted here.

I have been directed from The Most High to plant seeds. My job isn’t to plow them or water them.
No offense taken. I don't agree, there are plenty of places/ scripture that speaks of marriage.. including Christ turning water to wine at a wedding feast. It's ok.

Lots of Wedding traditions, not mandated by God.

The main mandate is for the couple to be unmarried (to others) and male & female.
At the Mountain of God, certain restrictions on if the Bride & Groom were related were added by God. Marriage outside of the Faith was forbidden.

Congratulations to the expectant parents and grandparents! Why does it sadden you?
Are they committing adultery? If not, they are Biblically married as of the first time they had intercourse.

There’s no formal marriage ceremony, in the Bible. The only man-made formality was the showing the bloodied Bridal sheet ( proof of virginity) to the man’s parents. And that was part of a contract between his parents and hers only.

there is a wedding in my bible.

sorry but I do not understand what you are talking about. are you telling for example, that prostitutes have had 100s or 1000s biblical marriages? my bible talks clearly about marriage and that people who cannot control their desire should get married. Jesus made a miracle at wedding (water/wine).
