this prayer request is for me., and my family. i just found out today that i have cancer. i’m supposed to get surgery as soon as possible. my mother who i am caregiver to needs prayer and my husband and 4 adult children , 2 of them are not following Jesus, but all the rest of us are. i’m trying to sing praises and trust in the Lord and not fear. thanks for

Jen, keep us posted. Let us know when you have difficult days, either when your faith or courage are at a low ebb, or when you are scared or in pain and we will lift you up. I have seen two husbands and a friend through leukemia (one husband survived over 20 years, praise God), and have other friends and relatives battling various cancers, so it is familiar territory and God is bigger than all of it. I pray Psalm 103 over you:

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Praying for you. For comfort and learning as you grow through this difficult time. Praying you will be able to ..see.. how your illness will actually be a learning experience. God's extraordinary work is often done through extraordinary people. You are one of those. You're a caregiver to your mother. You're caring for your family. I can see that you are a spiritual person. As you go along on this new journey, feast upon the Scriptures. You will find the perfect words needed at particular times throughout. Our Lord and Savior is very much aware of you. He -will-be right there with you. Knowing this will bring you great comfort.

praying. don't fear. my aunt didn't fear and thank God she is fine now. my cousin feared (bc he had 2 teenage kids) and unfortunately he died. pray and never fear. God is with us and he knows the best.
