prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

I have a prayer request. my great grandma is sick and I know that dose not sound that bad but I live with her so whenever I see her cough like she coughs I get a shiver down my spine and she is very old and I love her but I don't want this to go on any longer.
Praying for you and your great grandma! :hugs

I do want to thank you all for your continued support and prayer for my family and for my dear sweet Dad.
He was making quite a bit of progress, but has had some setbacks, so is now not doing very well. His aged body is weak and he's weary.
:hugs Sorry to hear he is not doing well, WR. Will step up the prayers, not just for him but for you as well. ❤️

I've been thinking and praying about that question, what does it mean to be perfect, as our Father in heaven is perfect? When a baby is born, it's perfect. It's a perfect newborn baby, although it's helpless, and its parents love it completely. As it grows and develops, it's perfect in each stage of development. At age two, when it's learning to walk, it's a perfect two-year old. At age five it's a perfect five year old and so on. Nobody expects a five-year old to be perfect in the same way as it will be when it graduates college. And no child is perfect in the same way as any other child. A corn seed is perfect as it is, and as it grows and develops, it is perfect in each of its phases - as a sprout, then a growing plant, then it produces young fruit in the ear, then the mature corn in the ear. So I think God wants us to be perfectly ourselves as He intended us to be. To live up to our potential. To grow and develop and become more like Him day by day. Perfect in each phase of our lives, but ever becoming more like Him in character, by the power of His Holy Spirit within us. Does this make sense?
