prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

Request from my husband - please pray for his nervous system.
He had neck surgery 10 years ago and the old problem seems to be returning
He is the only driver and only worker in our household of 3 . myself and my 83 yo mother are depending on him.
But ultimately, we are all depending on God.
Praying

I've been thinking and praying about that question, what does it mean to be perfect, as our Father in heaven is perfect? When a baby is born, it's perfect. It's a perfect newborn baby, although it's helpless, and its parents love it completely. As it grows and develops, it's perfect in each stage of development. At age two, when it's learning to walk, it's a perfect two-year old. At age five it's a perfect five year old and so on. Nobody expects a five-year old to be perfect in the same way as it will be when it graduates college. And no child is perfect in the same way as any other child. A corn seed is perfect as it is, and as it grows and develops, it is perfect in each of its phases - as a sprout, then a growing plant, then it produces young fruit in the ear, then the mature corn in the ear. So I think God wants us to be perfectly ourselves as He intended us to be. To live up to our potential. To grow and develop and become more like Him day by day. Perfect in each phase of our lives, but ever becoming more like Him in character, by the power of His Holy Spirit within us. Does this make sense?

I like this.

Yes. I believe He wants us to be perfect in our way of trying to follow His commandments. Each day is new. Each day we can try and be better than we were. Each day we can have a prayer in our hearts to ask for forgiveness in our weaknesses. Each day we can ask Him to help us through it all and to remember why we're here. To pass the test to get back to Him. It's a life long process to.. complete, whole, developed; and fully totally righteous. We can become perfect through His grace and Atonement. To have Christ like Love. And sorry for the bold. Not sure why that went Bold. LOL.. until I found the B up there. Must have touched it somehow. I love you all. ❤️

A death in our church. She wasn't that old. :( Waiting for the obituary. Maybe it will explain. Just got a message from our Bishop letting us know she passed on Sunday night. I pray I don't pass during a holiday. My sister lost a 7 year old daughter in December before Christmas. It was the third child she had lost to the same illness. Encephalitis. She lost a girl at 19 months. A boy at the age of 5 years, then that same year the girl in December. Death of one loved one is hard enough. I don't know how she managed. I'm still having problems with the loss of my husband. It's been years for her now. She's got grandchildren..one named after one of the girls. She's doing OK.

I had that surgery years ago too and am also having problems with another blown disc below where I had the other done. The Neurologist saw it on the MRI as we talked about my upcoming surgery at the time, but said this isn't what's bothering you right now, we may have to fix it later. The pain right now isn't anything like what I had with the ones fixed. I hope your husband can get the same relief he got from it years ago. It does take some time in healing. Praying for him and you and your mother. God has a way of helping things work out doesn't He?
