My sister is facing breast cancer. I don't know many details. We can't get a hold of her right now. Unfortunately, we have very little contact with her (due to her husband). I was hoping that with her diagnosis he would relent and allow contact. Please keep the situation in your prayers.

He can't stop you from sending cards and flowers, can he? She needs to know you care, to feel your love, even if he won't let you express those things in words. Let him know you care for him as well, this must also be devastating to him. May God give you wisdom and guide you in love.

There are things I can't share, but I will say that the control this man has over her is unreal. I'm not allowed to contact her at all. She would never see any mail I sent to her. All I've been able to do over the last 5 years is pray. It's hard for me to understand so I realize that it's hard for others to understand....
