prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

My husband’s brother was on his way from Wisconsin down to Arkansas to see his father before he died, but he was about an hour too late , father passed away about an hour ago. Thank you for keeping my husband in your prayers and the rest of his family.
Ah, so sorry. Still in my prayers!

Prayers continue. Will you/your husband make it for the funeral?

Sadly it’s highly unlikely as we don’t have a vehicle and my husband can’t fly
I could not get to my Dad's funeral either, nor to see him before he died. But my heart is at rest because I know that he knew, always, how very much I loved him. Hopefully your husband's dad knew, as well, how much your husband loved him. While a person is living is the time to communicate that. ❤️

Perhaps the Lord will provide a vehicle.
Having lost both of my parents a little while back, I sympathize with your loss. I take great comfort knowing that our loved ones that are believers aren't in pain or suffering any longer dealing with illness or the cares of the world. They are with Jesus and we'll see them again someday.

John 5:24: "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

praying.

I live 1000+ miles away from the rest of my family. as I run a little farm on my own I cannot travel for funerals. my mother came to visit me in september and 4-5 days after her arrival her brother died. I didn't let her go to the funeral as she could not have returned to me. my uncle was dead and would not have enjoyed her presence while I did.
