I needed to see this today. I just received word that our friend who was waiting for a heart/lung transplant will not be getting them. He was taken off the list last week due to an infection that spread throughout his body. The bacteria count was going in the right direction with antibiotic treatment, but his body is starting to shut down. They will begin turning machines off tomorrow. Please pray for his wife, three kids (ages 9,6 and 4), his parents, sister and other family and friends.

I'm grateful that God's word brought you some comfort today. I am but a mere vessel and He knew you needed that scripture.

I'm sorry to hear of this situation. This is always a difficult process to endure. I will keep your friend and family in prayers. May God be present in the grief and provide comfort in the sorrow for the days and weeks to come.

If you could also pray for my brother in law who is undergoing chemo for a tumor. This is the 2nd time he's had treatment for cancer and its been in remission for a while until recently.

Thank you all for your prayers. My heart hurts for his family, but I can’t be sad for him. He will be promoted to Heaven and meet his Savior.
