It's a fallen world and at this time Satan is in charge. Wickedness abounds and the wages of sin is death - for everybody, for all have sinned. Pain, sickness, sorrow, these have fallen on all humanity beause Adam ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But good news! The Father sent His only-begotten Son to set us free from the law of sin and death. We can become partakers of eternal life through Jesus Chist. By faith we can receive the gift of God, which is eternal life. Satan can still inflict suffering upon us, but we know that when Jesus returns He will give us new, glorified bodies, free from sickness and death. Satan will be no more and the earth will be made new. We will live in peace with God forever.
