Miss Lydia is waiting to get a surgery date. They may call her today. She’s nervous about it, of course and still does not have Internet because their company keeps lying to them and putting it off. Praying that she gets a miracle healing and doesn’t have to have the surgery after all that would be the most wonderful blessing

Wow, you know it's been almost a year since Helene hit NC on Sept. 27, 2024. That's a memorable date for me bc it is a friend's birthday. They may be having a harder time getting service to her bc of the devastation, idk ... but will pray for both her health/ surgery and a rapid restoration of all communications. How stressful all that must be! Thank you for staying in touch with her and encouraging her for us, letting her know we have not forgotten her!


We do not need to know the details, Jen, God knows! Prayers will continue as long as you need them, both for restored health and continued courage. I know prolonged health challenges can be discouraging! Keep the faith!

I was surprised you said the updates make you sad. God's timing is not ours. I prayed for my son's sobriety for 35 years. God heard my prayers and answered YES. He is now free and sober, hallelujah! We must not lose heart when our prayers are not answered immediately or in just the way we think they should be.

I have heard it said that God always answers prayers but that sometimes He answers No or Wait or I will give you something better. But what saith the Lord?

2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

According to His own Word, He always answers Yes. So rejoice when you pray. Pray with thanksgiving. ABC: ASK, BELIEVE, and CLAIM the promises, for if you ask in accordance with the conditions, you will receive what He has promised.

[The conditions are:
What you ask must be consistent with His will (1 John 5:14).
You must not be harboring known sin (Prov. 28:9, 15:8)
We must not ask for anything just to satisfy our own lusts or sinful desires (James 4:2, 3).
We must ask in faith, believing He will give us what we ask for (James 1:6).]

These are the keys to answered prayers, and Prayer Warriors should know them well.

Oh, I missed one, sorry. We need to ask by praying TO the Father in the name of the Son. (John 14:13, 14; John 16:26.) You see,

I so often hear people pray , "Dear Jesus," and finish their prayer, "in Your name we pray." I am not saying these prayers will not be answered because God knows the intent of the heart, but .... He taught us to pray TO the Father, Who is the Giver of gifts, asking in His name, Who opened the Way for us by becoming one of us, living a sinless life, dying for us on the cross, overcoming death on the third day, and returning to His Father.

Please keep baby Rhett in your prayers. Still needs a heart transplant. This is the update as of yesterday morning:

Prayers for Rhett please He is not doing so good with this Covid pneumonia. He was running a high fever yesterday and having trouble breathing even with the vent. The decided to paralyze him again yesterday to let his body rest and they were able to place him on his belly today to try and break up some of the pneumonia in his lung. He is definitely a sick little boy right now and needs all the prayers he can get

Poor little guy. Will pray that God quickly releases him from all these ailments to show His great mercy and glory. It just goes to show how evil Satan is, when we see the effects of sin in this world on our little ones. But praise God, through Jesus Christ we can look to that day when there will be no more sickness, sorrow, pain or suffering, and there will be no more tears. Please, God, provide this child with a new heart to save his life, I ask in the name of Your Son Jesus, Who is in the business of providing new hearts to all His children. Thank you, Amen.
