Now take that knowledge, and love and trust someone or something else. Let that love grow. In that way your chicken will always be a part of you. She will live in your heart forever.

but god told me her purpose wasnt finished. and that her mission was cut short. he also told me i noticed her for a reason out of the other chicks. whatever that means. he said she will return in the same timely manor as she was brought to this world. i dont know thats just what i heard when i was praying

maybe God will send you another chicken. as we cannot take the bible literary we cannot take literary any messages we think they are from God. as you were depressed you were away from God so maybe his enemy (satan) is playing with your mind. ask God not to talk to you and he will not. if you continue to hear then it is not God talking to you. it seems you are in a very dangerous situation. we shall pray for you but you must pray too. it is very important you ask God not to talk to you!

be very very careful about what you hear. a friend of mine has been though the similar situation. he thought st. anna was talking to him. there are very few people that can here messages from God and it is not God personally that talks to them. those people dedicated their lives to God (some monks and similar). simple people, especially those that are hit by satan (angry, depressed, etc.) can hear voices but they are not from God. be careful and try to find a priest or whoever you have in your church and talk to him. let us know please whatever happens.

True @chickengr - the devil likes to prey on the weak as they are in a vulnerable state. It is important to put on the armour of God in order to fight the battles. The armour is His Word.

Sorry, I respectfully disagree. We absolutely can take the Bible literally, it is the Word of God and He cannot lie. Hebrews 6:18.
The devil on the other hand is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44.

Let's not argue about whether the Bible is to be taken literally or not. Some of us believe it is, some believe it is not. Let's all just focus on our love and faith towards God and Jesus. That is the only thing that will save us in the end

Update on Rhett:

Today is 2 months on the transplant list He seems like he’s a little better with the pneumonia, but we aren’t even close to being over it yet. Hopefully he gets over it soon. They can’t accept an offer for a heart for him until he gets better. Hopefully he won’t have to wait much longer

you didn't understand what I meant. some verses in bible are metaphoric. you don't take the words literally but the meaning. that's why some people read the bible but don't understand. I have a cousin who tried to read the bible many times but didn't understand a thing.
