Prayers desperately needed for my father in law (Updated POST #45)

" they told me i shouldnt be posting the familys business on the internet. I simply said "The power of prayer does wonderous things. Thats how miracles happen"..... and i got a message back saying "Lisa. Dont."

Now, i am not only upset because this is happening, but now I have one of the family members mad at me? ?? ?

Lisa, everybody reacts to stress, fear, mourning, etc. their own way. I would just email back you have well-meaning friends who wanted an update and not to worry, you will respect his right to privacy. If it is the "prayers" she is concerned about I would say something along the lines of "Some folks find comfort in prayer and everyone finds comfort in positivity. Think of praying and thousands of people sending mental, positive well-wishes" and then let it go. You can't please everyone.

Thanks you guys. I know that particular person is probably hurting. But to basically tell me to not have a "prayer wave" out there, really got me. I didn't respond to the last text... i left it alone. And sucked it up, and focused on the situation.

Bell, follow your heart and soul and you'll never go wrong....Remember if I understand who you are, you are not hear to please this world or even your family.....It's tough to get that kinda criticism but let flow like water off a duck's back.

Since you posted on your page and it was designed to let you express "yourself" I feel like they should worry about their page and the man who is injured. But anyway - I will be praying for your Father in law and I hope he makes a full recovery soon!! When you are down and out or at your most worried and upset is when the Devil likes to throw rocks at you!!

how very evil now that i think about it... using a family member to try to get to me. BE STRONG!
