After a year of watching craigslist, I finally found a breeding pair of meat rabbits! Even better, they're free!

Someone else has already expressed interest and is looking at the rabbits tomorrow.

An inexpensive source of fresh, humanely-raised meat would help me so much... I'm both a student and a mom of 4.

Please pray for a good outcome - these rabbits could be a dream come true!

I got them! The other interested party didn't ever show up, so I brought them home last night

They are wonderful - We've named them Chronos and Gaia.

We figured that since they'll be the parents of all future rabbits, those names were fitting

Glad you got them. I was thinking of doing it and using a rabbit wringer for killing. I just know my kids would have a fit if I killed rabbits for dinner!
