prayers for maple's angiogram Mon.

Gretch I have no idea how I missed this entire thread until now! I have been wondering about you for some time. I am sorry to hear that you are having so much misery right now. I have always had the feeling that you are a kind person and very undeserving of the bs you seem to be dealing with. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you chickenchick for your prayers and for thinking about me and my family. My heart swells when coming across uplifting words and prayers from friends I have made "out there." So please know, I am deeply humbled knowing there are people out there who actually DO care.

You all have made a special place in my heart.

Oh yea, I let the big girls free range all day, Cotton and chickie stay in the pen, but the gate is open so the big girls can come and go as they please. I'm just afraid that if I kept them locked up all day, they might harm the chickie.
My chickens are spoiled, they like to run around all day.
When I checked on them after work, just as cute as ever, scratching and pecking in the dirt together!

I wondered about that too boo... I have 2 girls who are bitty's and have to declare thier pecking order every day.

I would like to expand to give broody her own spot.

I think that would be precious to come home to...mama and a baby or 10.

It is so cute to come home to baby chickie! Makes me want to sneak more under her, but I'm not sure she'd go for it. I'd love to have another chicken pen too, some day.

My sister may bring Sparky over today. Poor Sparky got kicked or something, and has big owie and needs hosing out. I have not seen the owie yet, but sis says its bad.

Zoe had her last half day on tues. and then she'll be entering 2nd grade... wow, it goes by so fast.

Ava will start preschool next year...she's having mixed feelings. She wants to be with mama ALL the time.

So did you watch GS graduate?? Aren't they cute and funny? Did they sing a song or have some kind of performance? cookies and punch afterward? What a proud moment.

ok, so get this.... the utility asst. program does not have me on file. I have been calling and calling and leaving messages with no returned calls and FINALLY today got a hold of someone and they were like, huh, you aren't in our system. Asked me where I applied. I told her where...that office moved but I got a hold of the secretary there and she's going to look into it for me. iy yi yi!!! My gas is shut off but my electric has a few more days... eeek. I already had my dr. fax a medical thing. The secretary at the asst. thing said if it is turned off... call my dr. again to call the electric co. again to get turned on because I know how the system works...keep calling so i can get moved ahead she said. sigh. all this time...i thought geez, they must have a whole lot of applicants and wow, I hope I'm accepted and get help.

ugh, i should have called sooner.

Oh yes, I watched GS graduate! They are very cute, sing songs, get diplomas and eat food. Beings I am the lunch lady, and they practice in the cafeteria, I got to watch the practices too!

They do grow so fast, geeze.
My youngest has joined the National Guard.

And GD walks now.
If you have medical stuffs that require any kind of electricity, well you get a discount too. Seems they should get right on that.
If they haven't gotten your drs fax yet, well, call them and get a specific name to fax it to, and then alert that person so they know exactly when it is coming and to look for it, they should not be messing around like that.

Can you get your dr to give you a copy of the filled out form he is faxing?

Maybe you can volunteer at the preschool when Ava goes?!!

Today is the chickenstock in Clear lake, I am not on the road, I have not showered yet, I need gasoline, and its over 4 hours away, and I was so busy at work and other stuffs, that I forgot to be getting ready and planning for a road trip, ($ tight, ya know)
I wanted to meet chicken people, and it would be so cool to be at the lake. I have not been to a lake in years and years and years.
And the pics of the ranch are beautiful. Well, they will be there all day and all night.

Cotton got the baby chickie up on the roosting shelf last night. Now how'd she do that?!! Its a good 3 feet or more up off the ground, of course, they are things to jump on. I wished I would of seen it though, Cotton jump up and then talk to baby, come on, you can do it, jump up here!
So baby chickie and Cotton roosted with the big girls last night. I'm not even sure baby chickie is even 2 weeks old yet.
Baby chickie needs a name.

I better go check on them now.

yeah.... i'm alive...

same schtuff...another day...

hanging in there.
