Oh heavens what a horrific tragedy. I will pray for this officer and his prisioner as well as their families. What a sad event.

I myself never get why police do not make as much as they deserve. They are true heroes. I will be praying.

As the wife of a police officer, this kind of thing is my biggest fear. Car wrecks scare me much worse than bad guys. My heart and prayers go out to the family of the officer and the detainee. I hope they're okay. Will you keep us updated on the story?

My heart is breaking. I lost the officer nest door only 4 years ago. And just over a year ago We all lost 6 officers within a month. As I watch the wife and sons of the officer next door, I still find myself crying because it just isn't right.

I am thinking of the officer and his family.
