I'm 37 and have been there too....turned out to be nothing. Cancer is a silent villian, so if you are in pain, maybe that is a good sign.

Prayers said for you and your husband...peace be with you both.

Cancer was not a silent killer for my mom. She was in pain for weeks before she was diagnosed. She was given muscle relaxers for her back and pain killers. She went to another doctor and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. That cancer is NOT silent, nor is it painless for anyone involved.

I've had my own scare and with my family's history, my time is coming almost 100%. I know the fear.

Just a quick positive story for you... I have two friends. Their mom thought she had cancer and she went to the doctor to tell him that she felt she had a tumor in her uterus or in her female organs. She was 50 years old at the time and knew she had gone through the change and felt a growth in her female organs. Her doctor looked her over, took a test and came back in to tell her that she was pregnant... with twins... my two friends.

You never know what will come from this trial you are enduring... and I'm hoping not twins.

You all are wonderful and I want to thank you for the outpouring of kindness and support. You always make me feel better when the chips are down and I love you all for that! Thank you!

I am feeling better about it today now that the initial shock has worn off and I have been able to calm my husband somewhat. He is much more upset and scared than I am. I feel so bad about that because there is not much I can do to calm his fears. I am not afraid for myself but very concearned about him.

wait until all tests are run before you make yourself so sick with worry. It could be something very different from cancer.
