Predator at my neighbors coop

I am you do this I’m in love to have chickens but this is what happened to my next-door neighbor. I’m posting photos Of damage to the coop and the trail of feathers leaving away. If any of y’all can tell us what you think this predator Would be greatly appreciated. This starts me from having my own chickens

The best way to stop it, I have found, is ether a shotgun or a bigger dog.

CHICKEN WIRE IS A BAD IDEA! IT IS CALLED CHICKEN WIRE BECAUSE THE ONLY ANIMAL THAT CAN'T GET THROUGH IT IS CHICKENS!!!! If you want safe chickens, use hardware cloth instead. It will prevent most things from getting through.

Yeah, chicken wire will not keep chickens safe, it just keeps them in. Everything else can get through chicken wire like a hot knife through butter.

That is why I said a big dog they are very good at keeping other animals out of the yard (mine even knows were each animal belongs so if I have a loose birds he will put it back in the right pen for me.)
