I would have to say Owl @RosemaryDuck Hit the nail on the head . I had an owl kill years ago and it was killed the same way .

We had a raccoon attack our coop this time last year when we were super beginners. This was the same MO. Especially the eating the insides and leaving the body. So sad. It was horrifying. We caught him on the camera finally.
