Predator preventor

Hi. I found this "predator preventor" on Murray McMurray hatchery for $125. It flashes a red light constantly, has blinding light when senses movement, and an ear piercing alarm when it senses animals. It is solar powered and weather proof. Has anyone tried this? Thanks!

I sure haven't tried it but it sounds good to keep the chickens safe!

i have the one with just the red flashing lights and it does not work from what i have seen. last week 3 of my birds were killed because, of Opossums and i have 4 of them set up around my coop it doesn't phase them one bit. But i do not know about the blinding light or loud alarm part of it but it may work.

The only thing it does is deter night time owl attacks.

If the chickens are in the coop at night, would deterring night time owl attacks have any value?
