If I build a salatin style tractor, what modifications should i make to predator proof it? I think not using chicken mesh but 1/2" wire for the sides and open top, but what about predators that would dig under it? That's my concern. Maybe have a 12" wide wire flat on the ground all the way around? I could connect it to the sides of the tractor and then pin it to the ground after I move it daily.
