So we have a fox in the horse pasture that's bold, can take video of it daily. Tonight I pulled in my driveway to see a racoon casually leaving the barn. Chased him away. Heard yipping out there tonight. I stepped out, the racoons back. I stomped around making noise, head for the house and there's a possum.

Who the heck rang the dinner bell?

Feeling surrounded by danger here!

can sure feel that way do you have any dogs? leave a radio going in the barn area ?
I have house dogs but one bald at things all evening, he stays out often. I turned the barn radio on but went out ten minutes later and they were both back. I have electric on the building at 8 inches... maybe I need dynamite? :D

I have house cats and barn cats that aren't allowed to mix so that won't work here unfortunately.

Might need a farm dog. I did try that in the past but the dog ended inside of course. Winters are awful cold for outdoor dogs.

In better news nothing was breached. I was worried about the goslings especially, they are in a polycarb panel covered hoop type building, visible and inches away from the electric fence wire. I might need to move them!

Mamas feeding their babies...buddy lost 30 free range birds in the last couple weeks to fox, coon, possums. Birds are locked up now.
That's bad, 30! I really hope to lose none. Just stepped outside, hoping last night was an anomaly. Tonight 2 racoons an opossum and possibly a Fisher by the creek. Something's got to give.
