Two questions.
1.Can't a predator dig under a coop if it's not stationary.
2.How do you keep your chickens safe from hawks when free-ranging.

When you have something like a chicken tractor all ready for the night, wouldn't a fox or dog be able to dig underneath?

I would say yes, that's why chicken tractors with out a wire bottom should be used for daytime only and preferably when you're around to watch them.

Do you own dogs? Sometimes just owning dogs can be a natural deterrent. Plus the question was would they be able to dig into the chicken tractor, and the answer to that is yes according to my knowledge of a fox's ability to dig.

I have one dog, and it would be very easy for a predator to dig under my coop, they just have to dig underneath a 2x4.
