Just for refference:
-Indian games are synonomous with true Cornish
-Cochin / Wyandotte tribe includes: Cochins, Wyandottes, Orpingtons, and Australorps.
-Label Rouge tribe includes: Freedom Rangers, Colored Rangers; Rainbows, Corndels, Gold Nuggets, etc.

Other: Cornish cross. For now anyway.

I'm pleased by the growth of my black orp x dark cornish cockerel though. He looks like he's going to make a great meal at 18 weeks, having already outgrown his mother in size at 15 weeks.
 
Other: We prefer the Chantecler for meat quality. They develop quickly even while pastured, are active birds full of muscle not fat, and have a tender meat with a nice texture. We butcher our boys rather early at 3-4 months, so they were very mild in taste.
For flavor we really liked the Buckeye. It may sound ironic, but they seem to have an earthy nutty taste. lol.

LOL! It appears that breed is better named than they knew!
