So far Dixie is taking real good care of them and everybody is doing good. We think this is her first time with trips but she is doing good.

I got to see some baby goats today when I went to Will Marrow's its great! I got to see two baby goats and hold them today they were adorable Fainters!

Ohhh!!! I'm so jealous! I have to wait until April 3rd for my first baby kid! My Alpine, Dixie, is due then but she's usually a few days early (I hope). Her daughter, Daisy, will be bred for June babies. We will be waiting for next year to breed her other daughter, Emma, because she's only 7 months old. I'll have to get my "kid fix" from pics of all your babies until then.

I apologize for the dark barn pics...too cold for the girls outside.

Here's my Lena, she's due in a week. She looks completely miserable. The pictures don't due justice to how deep her belly is. Ideally a Boer goat is 60% body and 40% legs...she's close to 80/20.

Here's the back ends of Lena and Fantasia (with the dirty booty- due after 1/1/09)

And for comparison, these three girls are due in March. Promise, on the left is huge all the time. She gave me trips last year and didn't get a whole lot bigger!
