Pregnant barn cat *update* We have kittens!

Chicken Wire around it! Duct tape it to the freezer and cut it longer so it arches ot at the bottom and she shouldn't be able to get under it! I had to do it around my whole raised barn to keep the chickens out from under it! It worked!

Yeah me!!!!! Happy to help!!!!! My darn chickens decided at one point that they preferred to sleep under the barn instead of in it in their nice cozy coop! My mommy instincts kicked in and I decided that they were not gonna have a choice! It is way to cold in N.H.in December for them to be sleeping outside instead of the heated barn! So...I made my DH do something about it using 100 feet of chicken wire and a staple gun! HAHA chickens! Mommy wins!

See, if it were me I would have been hiding, waiting for the chickens to try to go under the barn that night and jump out screaming something like "bwahahahaha!!" And laughed as I watched them run screaming back to their coop.

That would have been much more satisfying. =P

Trust me, I wanna know too! I'm like "Come on cat, you can do this. Here kittens, kittens, kittens. Come on out wittle kitties." But for some weird reason, they just don't do it. :\

Are you kidding? If the two of us teamed up the animals would all just learn not to get pregnant! that'd be an end to our fun.

(We'd make good money though... No one would have to get their pets spayed anymore... *looks up how much it would cost to move to NH*)

The wait must be killing you - I know how excited about it I am.

A thought on the birthing box - if she isn't using the new one yet, you might try making the entrance smaller - the original one seemed pretty open and kitties like to hide (probably why she was trying to get under the freezer). If the new box opening is large, just tape a piece of cardboard or fabric over it to make it smaller.
