Pregnant barn cat *update* We have kittens!

I just picked up on this thread today. Any kitties yet? I am in a similar situation. We were given a young cat as a barn cat right beore Christmas. She was friendly and my DH couldn't stand the thought of her dissapearing to a predator so we let her in at night with our other two cats. He thought she was just chubby , but I was sure she was pregnant. Guess who was right. I am watching her now because for the last 3 days she has been licking, restless and clingy. I can feel the babies moving. She should be due any day now. The wait is killing me. I would not abort the kittens either. Our local shelter has a low cost clinic. We had our other two cats ( A broher and sister) done before the girl went into her first heat. This one will be done as soon as the kittens are weaned. We plan to keep her indoors until that time. Good luck and post pictures of your babies.

I wish I could feel Jack's kittens move. I'm so impatient! She's so huge now but I still don't feel anything. :\

Agree! I want pics!!

This is my momma cat, Muffin. She doesn't really look fat in this picture, but she is huge. She has been in and out of the box I fixed for her all day, but she prefers the desk she is posing on. Hope that isn't where she has them.

Very Pretty!! And how unusual to have an Orange Marmalade cat that is a Female!! You have a very Rare Cat there! Maybe her kittens will look just like her and be female too! :)

She's pretty. :) We have yet to fix the freezer so she can't go under it. I hope we get it done on time, because I have no doubt in my mind that's where she will give birth if we don't. I do not want to have to fight her to drag newborn kittens out from under a freezer...

Thanks guys. We think she is pretty cute. Had no idea that orange girl cats were rare! She is a talker too. If you ask her a question she will answer. Just wish I was more fluent in Cat. Her behavior is indicating that she should birth any time now so her time out of her room is limited. Really don't want kittens under my bed or in my closet. Guess I will never have a barn cat. We spoil them too much.

Yeah... Jack is in our laundry room, but when she escapes into the house her hiding place of choice is under my little sisters' bunk beds... Their carpet is almost white... I hope she doesn't manage to slip past us and birth under there.

Oh my gosh! Now I'm waiting for the babies too!! I have 5 cats and they are all fixed. 4 girls and 1 lonely boy with 1 eye!! He hates being the captain of the ***** boat!! He travels the neighborhood.
