Oh hon you are welcome! I remember what it was like to have no knowledge of what was going on with my does! It is scary,as I felt helpless. You'll have this goat thing down in no time!

Thanks so much! It Definetly is scary!!! One more update:
Today when I went out to feed her she had an episode. She completely flipped out. She's normally very slow moving and lazy, but then she started ramming her horns (2x) against the wall and jumping a round like a baby goat! Her eyes seemed unfocused. In the 2.3 seconds she wasn't freaking out I felt her ligaments, and they seem very thin and low. In the place where her ligaments are, it seems hollow but I can still feel them. Could she be getting closer? Or is something wrong?

My doe Rams her horns into like very young trees. As to kinda sharpen them. She and the other goats also "head butt".. Or "buck up". All the time. Your mama doesn't have anyone to play or play fight with. She's definitely getting closer. I don't think anything is wrong. Would you like me to contact my Vet?

Well it's just that she's never done it before. She hit the wall really hard as if by accident. I would really love if you could contact him! If it's not to much trouble. Thank you so much! She's had contractions and it's very weird because I saw her dilate and it looked like something was coming out but then she stopped pushing and that's it. She's been doing some heavy breathing and getting up and down on the floor. Also has a faraway look. She's alos had a coughing fit which I'm concerned about.

yea sounds like she is ready but her body and baby(s) are not. Heavy breathing, dazed look and restlessness are normal. She's very close. My young doe Audrey coughed daily for the first like 6 months I had her. I thought something was wrong too. So of course,I asked my Vet. There was nothing to be alarmed about. She's over it now but one of Sassys girls,Sadie,is starting to do it. He says some do it and some don't. I'd really advise you to search for a Vet. It's always a good idea to have one on hand. Whether for emergencies or just annual check ups. I'll be in touch.

Ok honey I talked to my Vet again.

So I think I said this earlier but can't remember. So I'll say again. Goats are herd animals. They have a distinct need and instinct to be with other goats. Delilah is lonely. She needs a friend or two.

Also, considering her hormone levels and mood swings,it's obvious she's frustrated and very close to birth. My Vet said all is well. Work on getting her a buddy. This would calm her down tremendously. She's ready to be done with this but her body isn't quite there yet. Much similar to women! How is she today? Again as I said in my PM,so sorry I took so long to respond.
