I'll take some new updated pictures tomorrow, 1st picture was the day she was born June 29th and the other two pictures were taken July 29th at a month old.ok then she was probably just getting used to her legs
Yes, my kids love her! And she's the sweetest most friendliest little horse! She's been turning black this past week like crazy and I'm thinking she's gonna stay black. She's a mousey light brown which I've been told most foals that are her color turn out to be black when they mature.Glad all is good with mama and baby. Your kid(s?) must be thrilled. I love little painted mini's- just adorable. Thanks for the photos and the education @Bunnylady. Certainly good infoI feel just a tad smarter today for it.

She was born grey. Let me find some more pictures. In years past, I spent a lot of time hanging out on the Marestare forum. I can't count the number of times that we explained to newbies that black foals are born gray, and genetically gray foals are born black. Silvers are, well, silvers; born to do their own thing and you can't be sure exactly what they will turn out like.![]()
