Hello all, pardon the lengthy first post. Im having troubles with a little guy and could use advice.

Months back i got some week old tuxido and a&m from a local guy. They grew up and i ended up with 5 roosters and 2 hens. Well, too many roosters, so two were eaten and two reside in isolation except to swap them in for breeding.

We tried hatching our first set, six eggs. Two day old from the fridge, two from one day, two from the next. (Not ideal, i know... but with two hens and an egg hungry 4 year old its tough.)

Isolation at day 14, 5/6 were fertal and growing. Bumped humidity up to 65 percent that day, and its been at 75 to 77 from day 15 to 19 (today). On day 18 the first pipped and zipped. Got his head and foot out, three hours latet no progress. So ran the shower in the small bathroom, got humidity up, moved incubator in and got him out. I HATE to do that, as nature knows best... but if he died i didt want him in with the potential chicks. No others had pipped. He went into isolation. Well 27 hours later hes alive... but with issues.

Hours 1 to 3, stuck in egg with head and leg out. Hours 3 to 6 couldn't walk, eyes closed. Hours 7 to 12 trying to walk, eyes closed. 12 to 15, began 'walking' (standing, moving a leg, falling over.) Ground food on the floor, he would fall and touch it...then eat a bite. Water manually (drop on my finger) 30 to 45 minutes with electrolytes and vitimans assed. At 15 hours or so water 45 to 60 minutes, he seems to be eating, eyes still closed, but now walking. Poorly, but walking.

At 27 hours. Hes standing ok. Not great, but improving. He drinks off your finger until hes had enough. Clear "bubble" on his shoulder/neck where he kept rubbing agaist the shell. Eyes 95% closed, but a sliver at the top he opens occassionally. Still looks premature, even though he hatched 'on time'.

Im fully prepared for the worst, but with small gradual improvements i cant cull. Any advice would be appreciated.
