Premature Chick Hatching?!

I have over 24 eggs in my bator, and Lockdown would be Wednesday - but I already have one pip! I haven't even stopped the egg-turner yet!

What should I do? I'm worried she's gonna "set off" the other babies and they won't be fully cooked. But the egg is a breed I'm really looking forward to so I don't wanna cull it or anything.

Do I just leave it in the bator and take the risk?

Turn off the egg turner and bump up the humidity, as the others may be close to pipping as well. Perhaps the temperature was set a bit higher than you thought. She won't set off the others. They won't pip until they're ready.

No new pips, but after about 24 hours the chick is out of her shell and looks as healthy as I've ever seen. Good strong lungs - the thing likes to CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP but she's SOOOO cute.
