It is done. I wish I did it more gracefully, but I couldn’t get the neck to detach and I think I may have prolonged suffering. But I had a pair of scissors nearby luckily and finished with that in a timely manner. The moving afterwords is spooking me, but the lack of chest movement tells me it is gone and this is just normal after death movement.

I think I’m going to go make myself a cup of tea, watch someone on YouTube, and take it easy for the evening
