Preparing for a hurricane - what to do with horses?

THanks for asking SillyChicken. Everybody came out unscathed! We had tjree trees fall on the property. One hit a fence, but thankfully not a fence to a paddock that the horses were in. The other just missed our pool and the third fell in between our neighbor's barn and house. We were very lucky! The barn area is flooded, but the animals are all alive and well.

The town where I'm an EMT was a mess yesterday. I spent the whole day over there helping with evacuations and other tasks they needed us to do. Luckily no one was hurt, but I know there was a lot of damage. Thank goodness the dam they were worried about held up! otherwise a lot more people would have been forced out of their houses!

Just watching videos of the damage in NY and Vermont and thought of you. Glad everyone is ok and the animals all made it! Must have been very scary!
