Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

I'm stealing that name for future use. Also, Fishy Joe is my fave.

All of batch 2 are growing well here. Clicker still sounds like a little asthmatic with acute bronchitis that chain smokes... but he's growing. Puddle however is now the smallest. By quite a bit too. Everyone is active and eating though. I'll try to get pics on here soon.

I'm sorry about you loosing your Cami girl, @FunnyfarmMidwest. Big, big hugs!

Glad everyone's babies are doing good!

Here are Butter and Roxy now!

They are absolutely adorable! Glad your calls are doing well! :pop

Thank you for the condolences, they are much appreciated. I feel like now I’m panicking over any symptom or issue I have with my ducks. I’m so worried I’ll lose another one and it will break my heart. :hugs

I must have missed where you mentioned the other issues. Have you started a thread about it? If not, I would start one and tag Isaac. Hope that whatever it is resolves and leaves you stress free.

Thank you I hope it resolves too. I had consulted Isaac through a pm about Cami but haven’t yet about beans. He is acting normal otherwise, swimming, eating tadpoles, and preening. I’m monitoring him very closely. I’ve been having trouble with him for the past day or so. He has a cough sometimes and I’m really worried. Then he’ll act normal like nothings wrong. Today I noticed him closing and opening his mouth repeatedly as if he has something stuck in his throat. Now only an hour or two later he is acting perfectly normal. I’ve picked up some vet rx, ACV, and respiratory balm for his bill. Everyone else is normal. I’m worried it could be the bag of food I bought recently, as it was very dusty. I quit feeding it to them today and tossed it. I will pick up a new bag today.

If I notice Bean getting worse or if he quits acting normal I’m definitely going to try to get him into the vet. I’m monitoring him very closely. All the others are acting completely normal and Beans seems normal right now. Unfortunately the vet is about 1 and a 1/2 hrs away so it’s a tough drive for them.

Can't hurt, right? I need to deworm my big chicken flock. What do you suggest? I bought Safe-guard 0.5% Dewormer at TSC.
Yep I’m sure it can’t. I have no experience with chickens so maybe someone else can answer your question. I have safeguard 10% suspension on hand and that’s what I’m plannning to deworm my ducks with. I had a post with the dosing but I seem to have lost it. If anyone knows the dosage for a small call duck that would be a tremendous help.

Oops just checked and mine is the goat dewormer with a 10% suspension. I do have the 0.5% as well.
