Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

Can't hurt, right? I need to deworm my big chicken flock. What do you suggest? I bought Safe-guard 0.5% Dewormer at TSC.
Return it and get the liquid for goats instead.

What's the problem? Just tell me what post to go read and I will start there.
Thank you for replying. Here are the issues I’ve been experiencing. The first one I talked about (Cami) passed away one day after showing symptoms. The second Beans is showing some symptoms on and off and I’m not sure what is wrong with him. None of the others are showing symptoms (including the babies that Cami had recently hatched. Here’s some posts about them.

What's the link, I need to go start there.

@WVduckchick is Gharth's story on this thread? I missed it somehow.
I have a runt thing. Crazy amount of size disparity within my littles this year, in general, but this little guy is just tiny. Most of this group are Cinco de Mayo babies, with the yellow and the runt hatching 5 days later on the 10th making him just about 3 weeks old now. He is smaller than fishy Joe, who is 9 days old. @FunnyfarmMidwest, I can't remember... did Bobbles start growing a little more at around 6 weeks?

Then there's that monster you see there too. The monster is actually the sweetest one. His name is Lenny.
Don't mind the OEGB chicks. They freak out if they're separated from their precious ducklings.

Oh my gosh! They're absolutely adorable! How old is Lenny Monster? I love that big baby! Makes me think of the term I've heard @Overo Mare use, "honker" (makes me laugh every time I think about it and it's so relatable ~ and yes the bird she used it for turned out to be one huge whopper of a girl) :lau

I'm stealing that name for future use. Also, Fishy Joe is my fave.

All of batch 2 are growing well here. Clicker still sounds like a little asthmatic with acute bronchitis that chain smokes... but he's growing. Puddle however is now the smallest. By quite a bit too. Everyone is active and eating though. I'll try to get pics on here soon.

I'm sorry about you loosing your Cami girl, @FunnyfarmMidwest. Big, big hugs!

Glad everyone's babies are doing good!

Here are Butter and Roxy now!

Wow! They're gorgeous! Are you hearing any quacks yet? I still LOVE Butter. Roxy is quite stunning too! I am biased whenever it comes to the white ducks because of my sweet pea "Honey Boo Boo" who is my forever patient. I've been treating her for a year and a half now and she'll have to have her foot wrapped her entire life. Sweet sweet Pekins...... I love them so much but can't stand to watch them suffer (side note, I know that there are some very healthy Pekins that live long happy lives but both of mine are handicapped. My Drake hatched with a deformity and Honey Boo Boo suffered from bumble foot off and on for months but she's been infection free for the past 8 months). The white calls are like miniature Pekins in my mind! I'm determined to add one (or more) to my flock.

It is this except in a 1 pound package. Do you know the dosage for Cochin Bantams? Can I give this to 1 week old chicks?

I use Valblazen and highly recommend it! I use a half cc for regular size chickens and a quarter cc for bantams. I find this dosage much easier whenever you're dealing with a larger flock. I can't imagine weighing each bird before dosing and then repeating.
