Presenting-CASA DE POLLO (UPDATE post 18)

He's so pretty, I'm sure the girls will swoon. It's too bad about the constant crowing, since I've had no complaints so far, I couldn't chance it, otherwise I would have loved to take him. But I have 2 huggy roos and hopefully I'll get a JG huggy roo out of my hatch

Just got this very same playhouse (used) this morning from an ad on craigslist. Drove an hour and a half home in the snow and wind with it! Can't wait to get it set up when we get a little warm weather. Ours has a little porch on the front. Thanks for the great pictures! We will be setting it up on a platform as well, but will build a run off the side, too that will attach to an existing shed.

Janos&Jen :

Bearing in mind that the peak of the roof is six feet high. Take a look at the pic of where the nesting boxes will be and let me know if you think they could easily access them.

It might be a little high to reach into the nesting boxes. I bet you could build some cute steps up to them. You are doing a great job.

Chester was re-homed to a couple with a love for animals! They couldn't wait to get him home and find an EE hen so they could have green eggs and ham! I won't be able to go to the fair. We are going to be out of town this weekend. Hoping to go to the strawberry festival though.
