That's why I think oiling will be fine. In other countries, refrigeration is not available. People still eat eggs. Chickens can hatch eggs in high temps too. I think Americans worry too much. My Swedish neighbors are not bothered by the temperature or cleanliness of my eggs. They just want them! They take care of mine when I am gone and take the eggs in return, never complained once. I do take care to keep very clean nest boxes.
 
I never refrigerate eggs I been eating shelf eggs for 9 years I wash them in warm water and pack them although eggs don't stay around longer than 7-10 days I just find it easier to boil them and peel if they have been at room temp for a week or so
