Pressed on crop, mucus came out mouth

Wow today I pressed on the crop of one of my birds. All this clear but sticky mucus came out her mouth. Her crop is not feeling like its impacted or full of air but there is noticeable food or something there. Not unusually big pretty normal feeling. Anyone know what that is. No smell from the mucus neither. Sometimes I catch her moving her head funny to try and get food down.

We have had them spit up when handling after a good drinking session, and no problems at the time, maybe she is just fine?
